IFS HPC certification is intended for manufacturers of drugstore, perfumery and hygiene products, whether they are private label, own brand or no name.
The IFS distinguishes 4 sectors of non-food consumer products:
•Scope 1: Cosmetic products (e.g. makeup, lotions, shampoo, creams, etc.)
•Scope 2: Household chemicals (e.g. detergents, softeners, cleaning agents, deodorants, etc.)
•Scope 3: Household items of daily use (e.g.: trash bags, paper towels, aluminum rolls, etc.) and food contact items (e.g.: disposable tableware, etc.)
•Scope 4: Products intended for personal hygiene (e.g.: tweezers, bath sponges, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, toothbrushes, diapers, etc.)
ATeCQ certification can carry out the certification of manufacturing sites for these 4 scopes as well as certifications of combined scopes with a single auditor.
Contact us to find out the scope that concerns you.
The auditor carries out the audit by evaluating all the requirements of the IFS HPC standard relevant to the audited structure.
During the closing meeting, the auditor presents his conclusions and comments on all non-conformities and deviations identified.
The auditor then provides within 10 days a provisional action plan for the company, which will use them as a basis for establishing corrections and corrective actions related to non-conformities and deviations determined.
It is only after receiving the complete action plan as well as proof of implementation of the corrections that the management of the certification body will be able to make a decision on the subject of certification, and prepare a report. formal final audit. The issue of the certificate depends on the results of the audit and the responses to the action plan.
Rating system:
A Full compliance 20 points
B (deviation) Almost full compliance 15 points
C (deviation) Low proportion of requirement met 5 points
D (deviation) Requirement not met -20 points
Major non-compliance. Subtraction of 15% from the total possible number of points
KO (6 requirements affected) Requirement not met. Subtraction of 50% of the total possible number of points => no certification possible.
With a score of 95% the site can be certified higher level.
Between 75 and 95% of the site can be certified at the basic level.
Below 75% the site cannot be certified.
In the IFS HPC, renewal is done every 12 months according to a full audit covering all the requirements of the standard
SUMMARY OF THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS
IFS PROGRESS HPC is IFS HPC certification in multiple steps:
Year 1 // The basic level:
81 requirements of the total standard, a less strict grading system, and a confirmation letter to formalize this step if the result is above 75%
Year 2 // The intermediate level:
127 requirements of the total standard (the 81 of the basic level + 48 others), a less strict grading system, and a confirmation letter to formalize this step if the result is higher than 75%
Year 3 // Classic IFS HPC certification.
The conditions of achievement are identical to those of IFS HPC certification: criteria for calculating time, qualification of the auditor, scope of audit.
